Thank you to all who have contributed to the Deacon Food Pantry.   To date we have provided Chester County Cares with 226 cans of meat in September, 112 boxes of cereal in October, and 106 stuffing or gravy items in November. Additionally 32 bags of assorted grocery items have been dispersed to Cares, Safe Harbor, and Salvation Army.

 

It has been reported that food pantries can expect a dramatic increase in the number of people seeking assistance while donations significantly decline during difficult economic times. We thank you again for your generosity as we strive to help end hunger in our community.

 

As a friendly reminder, please check expiration dates as state regulations prohibit the distribution of out dated food products.
