What time are services?

Each Sunday, we meet for a Traditional Worship service at 8:00, 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

There is a Contemporary Worship service at 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

What kind of worship music do you sing?

At the Traditional services, typically 3 hymns are sung from the Presbyterian Hymnal.

At the Contemporary service, several praise songs are sung. The words are on an

overhead projector and led by the Praise Band.

Do you have childcare?

Yes. The Nursery is open every Sunday morning from 8:00 - 11:45 a.m. Parents will

receive a beeper when they drop off their children, in case they are needed.

How do I become a member?

Three to four times a year, the church holds a New Member class. The class meets

after worship on a Sunday for approximately three hours, including lunch. During this

time, you will hear from pastors and staff persons about becoming a Presbyterian, and

what life at First Pres is like. If, at the close of the session, you decide to join the church,

you can meet with members of Session in a brief meeting, and officially become a

member of First Pres. New members are recognized in worship the following Sunday.

The next New Members Class is Sunday, February 24, 2008.

Is First Pres handicapped-accessible?

Yes. The left entrance at the front of the building has a ramp, and an elevator is located

at the rear of the New Lounge, the room beyond those double doors. Large-

print hymnals and hearing aids are available in the Sanctuary; ask any usher for

assistance.

Do you offer church school?

Church School is available for all ages (Nursery - Adult) at the 9:00 service. At 10:30,
