Hi! Thanks for visiting the Children’s Ministry page. I’m Lisa Herman and I’m the new Director of Children’s Ministries here at First Presbyterian Church.
I’m looking forward to a great year with the kids! We have two main programs available:
- Sunday morning Church School (“G.L.O.W.”: God’s Love in Our World)
- Wednesday night kids’ activity (“W.O.W.”: Welcome On Wednesdays).

More About Lisa:
My name is Lisa Herman and I graduated from Eastern University (St. David’s, PA) with a degree in Youth Ministry in May 2007. I also had minors in Biblical Studies and Communications. I grew up in the West Chester area (graduated from Henderson High School in ’03) and am again living in West Chester now. I love working with kids and continue to babysit outside of working at First Pres. God has given me a real heart for ministry and I’m thankful that He has led me to First Presbyterian to live out His love for His children! I’m looking forward to bringing a lot of enthusiasm and fun to our programs as well as developing relationships with parents, volunteers, and kids. I’m in the C.E. Center (Room 212) Mondays 12-4, Tuesdays 9-4, Wednesdays 12-5, and Thursdays 12-4 if you want to call with any questions or stop by!
