Direct Debit is an option at First Pres!
-
Are you interested in an easy, automatic way to pay your pledge?
-
Is your schedule so hectic that it is hard to find time to write a check?
-
Have you experienced automatic debit yet?
-
First Presbyterian Church can now offer automatic debit to you in order to fulfill your pledge!
How does it work?
The form listed above needs to be completed by you and returned to Dory Speer, Church Business Administrator, with a voided blank check attached. It must be a voided check to get the correct routing number.
Can I give you a deposit ticket from my account rather than a voided check?
No, a deposit ticket generally has a routing number for internal bank purposes only. That number will not work for automatic debit.
How often is money withdrawn from my account?
Automatic debit is done once a month on the first business day of each month until you notify us to stop. A yearly listing of the day and date of the debit is mailed to you at the beginning of each year that you participate in the automatic debit program.
Can I make adjustments during the year to the amount? Can I increase/decrease the debited amount when I increase/decrease my pledge for the following year?
Yes, absolutely. Changes can be made in writing submitted to Dory Speer, Church Business Administrator, including instructions to cease the automatic debit process.
Please call if you have further questions about the process. Because of the sensitive nature of this information, please either hand deliver your completed form or mail to the attention of Dory Speer and mark the envelope confidential.
