Dear Prayer Team and Prayer Partners,

Elizabeth Guman has provided us with the next set of prayer requests from the Long Range Planning Committee.  Our prayers will be needed until the end of April as they are so close to the completion of the entire project.

The Session will have a Planning Retreat on February 25 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

There will be additional planning activity that happens after that retreat throughout the Months of March and April until the April Session meeting. 

The March 26 and April 23 Session meetings will include discussion/updates and discernment of the God-sized Goals and their respective plans.

Please pray for:

• Long Range Planning Committee preparation for the retreat - that we are thorough and create a good process for Session to work through 

• The retreat: that Elders and Staff can make this a priority on their calendars and that at the retreat they are guided by God in using the work of the LRPC to be able to discern the God-sized Goals for First Pres 

• For the follow-up work that will need to happen 

• For the ownership of the goals and plans by Session  

• For discernment of how to communicate these plans to the congregation and engage them 

• For discernment of what needs to change so that we can pursue the goals that Session chooses, and that we don't get overwhelmed by them, particularly that our staff does not get overwhelmed  

And I trust in your amazing gift of prayer that you'll know what to pray for beyond my limited list!!
