There are a variety of learning opportunities available for adults.  Childcare is available during these programs.  Please see the “Children’s Programs” below for more details.  Adult programs include:

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ISSUES

We’re not afraid to talk about the ISSUES that you face everyday!   ISSUES is a discussion oriented class that is lead by you. Each week, an ISSUE ripped right from the headlines is posted online at our website (www.firstpreswc.com) so that you can form your thoughts and take part in the discussion on Wednesdays. But, the last say comes from the Bible as the group learns what God’s view is on the ISSUE of the week.   

In addition to the children’s music rehearsals, we offer WOWKidz for kids ages 3 through Grade 5 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.  

 

 

Ages 3 through Grade 5 can head to Room 214 after dinner (between 6:15 and 6:30) where they will usually play a game, do a craft, hear a story, and sometimes perform a skit. There will also be special activities from time to time which can involve everything from scavenger hunts to service projects. This time is a “youth group” for kids – a time to get to know one another and the adult volunteers, relax, have fun, and learn something relevant about God. Nursery care is available for children ages infant through 3. The Nursery is located on the lower level of the church, near Social Hall.
