The Beatitudes are some of the most loved teachings of Jessu, yet they may well be some of the most pointed.  We sometime miss their point, however, becaseu we do not study them within their literary, historical, and cultural contexts.  In this study, you are invited to consider the Beatitudes as they might have been heard when Jesus spoke them.

 

Many of the women's groups in the church will be embarking on a study of the Beatitudes this year.  We will use the resource for study created by Horizons.  If you have not previously been a part of a women's group and would like to now join, please contact Judy Schlabach or Naomi Ring for more information.  Lesson books are available from Judy for $8. 

 

PW leaders and any others are invited to participate in the study on the first Monday morning of each month at 9:30 in Rm. 210.  Suzanne Cresswell leads that group to help leaders prepare for their circle studies and to welcome others who can't participate in study within the circle context.
