God’s Big Backyard!
July 28-August 1
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Age 4 (as of September 1, 2007) – Grade 5 (completed)
Join us this year for God’s Big Backyard – a week of learning all about serving others! Through games, skits, crafts, music, Bible teaching, and stories of real-life servants of God, children will discover the rewards of service. This is an exciting week here at First Presbyterian Church and we want to work to make it the best it can be!

Three ways to register:
- Online: Select Vacation Bible School from events page, then mail in your payment
- Print out a copy of the form, fill it out and mail in your payment
- Visit the VBS Table during Coffee Hour on Sunday mornings.
Volunteers are welcome! Please follow one of the three options above to register as a Volunteer, or print out and send in a Volunteer Registration Form.

Prayer Requests:
-
Pray that God will raise up all the volunteers we need to make this program safe and fun and purposeful, because He is faithful.

Pray for the hearts of children who will be attending VBS, particularly those who do not know Jesus yet.

Pray for a spirit of missions & service to be ignited in each and every child (and volunteer!) who attends VBS – for the purpose of spreading the
-
Pray for clarity and understanding when the Word of God is taught, preached, read, declared, etc.

Pray for safety & God’s spirit of protection during the week of VBS. Pray for no injuries!

Pray that God would satisfy all the needs of the volunteers during the week of VBS – spiritually, emotionally, physically – so that we are energized to serve Him through serving the children.

Pray that each child will recognize First Pres. as a place where they feel welcomed, safe, loved, and cared for – and where they can be themselves and have fun!

Pray for strong relationships to develop between the children and volunteers.

Pray that we might minister to families and not just children.

Pray that over everything, it will be obvious that God’s Spirit is working through this program and that He is glorified!
