

National Mission
First Presbyterian supports the national mission efforts of the PC(USA) through gifts to disaster relief agencies and organizations promoting peace and justice in our country and abroad.
Naphtali – Founded by a First Presbyterian member, Naphtali provides clothing, household supplies, and supportive presence to people living on the Lakota Sioux reservation in South Dakota.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – Provides emergency aid and long-term recovery support for communities impacted by crisis or catastrophic events in the U.S. and abroad, such as earthquakes or flooding.
One Great Hour of Sharing – Founded by a coalition of Protestant denominations, One Great Hour of Sharing is a special offering that supports both U.S. and world-wide disaster response, clean water and hunger-relief initiatives, and employment opportunities.
Peacemaking Offering – Now called the Peace & Global Witness Offering, this special offering enables individual churches and the PC(USA) denomination to advocate for peace and justice in regions affected by war and violence, both at home and abroad.
Christmas Joy Offering – Supports current and former church leaders and assists future clergy to attend Presbyterian-related schools, particularly those focused on the development of women and racial and ethnic minorities.
