On Sunday mornings, nursery care for infants and 1-year-olds is located in Rm. 4 during the 9:00 a.m. service and up to three year olds at the 10:30 a.m.  service.

 

For kids age 2 up to Grade 5,  Sunday School classes are available during the 9:00 service.  In these classes, we teach from a fun, Bible-based, Reformed curriculum called Walk with Me. These lessons involve a variety of activities: learning Bible verses, playing games, doing art projects, stories, and music!  

 

Children aged 3 and 4 participate in Godly Play which is a Montessori based approach to learning.  Children learn the stories of the Bible using wooden manipulatives and felt pieces kept in beautiful boxes or baskets.  They begin to learn that the church is a special place and that we treat this place with reverence. They have the opportunity to respond to the stories through a variety of art materials. Jerome Berryman developed this very special method used world-wide in churches.

 

Middle School and High School youth also have Sunday School during the 9:00 am hour.

At 10:30, children begin in the worship service. Following the children's chat, children aged 3-2nd grade proceed to their classroom for a story based on the worship theme of the day.
